A Multicriteria Decision Framework for Solar Power Plant Location Selection Problem with Pythagorean Fuzzy Data: A Case Study on Green Energy in Turkey

Turkey is one of the most suitable countries for solar power plants, owing to its ideal location in terms receiving radiation; accordingly, plans are place expand plant system fulfill increasing energy demand. In this study, a combination multicriteria decision-making and fuzzy logic was used evaluate potential locations (cities southern Turkey) install new plants subject different criteria an uncertain nature. The proposed methodology has several attractive features, which described throughout study. were selected based on literature opinions experts. addition, criterion (capacity existing plants) added achieve more precise results. Ten eighteen cities form decision matrix problem. First, weight each computed by stepwise assessment ratio analysis (SWARA). Then, TOPSIS approach extended Pythagorean ranking as solution procedure. results show that best candidate city Antalya, followed Karaman Malatya second third candidates, respectively. Finally, measure impact changes criteria, sensitivity conducted. Multiple scenarios considered, indicated Antalya alternative scenarios.
